Pouring money into your development project without anything to show for it?
I’ve worked on projects for over 20 years and can tell you that 100% of projects don’t go to plan. We don’t live in a perfect world and things go wrong. A whole host of issues can affect even the best-laid plans.
Alterations mean time delays and spiralling costs. Companies don’t have an endless supply of labour. Contractors need to roll onto other projects. You can end up with 30% of the project to complete with 5% of the time and 5% of the budget. If you need someone to save your build, it’s time you get in touch.
Why are projects so challenging?
It comes down to priorities. Contractors want to build quickly and get the job done. Their priority isn’t always to deliver the best build for you. Architects are at the other end of the spectrum. They just want to see their designs come to life. Even if it won’t give you the best outcome.
This means both contractors and architects can be inflexible in their approach. And neither are fully thinking about how you will actually live in the house once they’re gone. You need someone to take a 360 view, being the line of communication between you and the contractors, balancing all aspects of the project to deliver for you.
But I got a referral
You may think you’ve done your due diligence. But contractors act differently on different builds. They manage a number of projects at any one time. So they may not have the same time or passion for your project. So the recommendation you’ve received doesn’t guarantee a great experience for you.
If you’ve had the sneaking suspicion you’re being taken for a ride, or you’re in the middle of a project that’s gone to pieces, you may need my service. I’m the client-side project manager looking out for your priorities. Who is on your side.
What you get when we work together
I’m Robert Lyons. As I said above, I’ve been working on build projects for over 20 years. So when we work together, you get the experience that comes with that. I can manage architects and contractors, whilst balancing your finances to save your build.
I bring every element of the project together, using my network of vetted contractors and hands-on on-site management. You get the peace of mind that your project is in good hands and will be delivered with the highest quality.
Whatever situation you find yourself in, we can find a solution together. I don’t force a one-size-fits-all approach onto you. Using my expertise, I present a range of options and recommend the best course to take.
